About

I started in construction at 17, back when my back didn’t hurt, and I thought carrying 40 tools in my belt was normal. After bouncing around the trades, I settled into finish carpentry and got serious about doing clean, tight work.

The problem? Too many tools, not enough patience. Every day, I was hauling around the same three: a stud finder, a margin tool, and a scribe. And somehow, the one I needed was always the one buried at the bottom of my bags.

So instead of digging around like an idiot, I did something about it. I made one tool that does all three. The Swede 3-in-1 saves space, cuts the clutter, and keeps things simple because the job’s hard enough without fighting your tool belt.

I use it every day, mostly because I made it for myself, but also because it actually works. More tools are on the way. Smarter, simpler, and built for guys who’d rather work than dig through their bags.

Cheers,
Jim “the Swede” Lundquist
